Chuck the Eco Duck flies in to Enginuity

This half-term The Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust is unveiling its new Chuck the Eco Duck soft play area in Enginuity. The specially designed zone features the popular animated character at home on his farm with all his friends.

Chuck the Eco Duck was created by Robert Sidaway of Chuck Media Limited. As youngsters let off steam, they will also be able to watch a new short animated film, which was specially commissioned for the Museum and features Chuck and his friends on an adventure in the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site.

Robert Sidaway commented: “Chuck the Eco Duck is very much at home in Ironbridge, and particularly Enginuity, as he is all about encouraging children to care for the environment and each other. We are delighted that Chuck can now welcome children to his farm at Enginuity.

Young visitors will be able to view Chuck’s animated adventures, dance to his song 'Chuck Loves Your World!' and watch his first visit to the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. They can also have fun making a bridge, and playing with the other soft play pieces.

You can find out more about Chuck at www.chuck-the-eco-duck.com and hear Chuck stories on Fun Kids - the radio station for families on DAB digital radio and online at http://www.funkidslive.com/.”

Anna Brennand Deputy Chief Executive at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum added: “The Museum is working hard with partners to ensure that the World Heritage Site operates in an environmentally friendly fashion, and we are confident that Chuck the Eco Duck will help our younger visitors gain a greater understanding of how we can all look after the earth’s precious resources.”

The new Chuck the Eco Duck Soft play area will be open to visitors from Monday 21st February in Enginuity.
