Compliance and Sustainability Officer

Based at Castle Vale TRA, Spitfire House, High St Castle Vale, and other locations in Birmingham.


As part of our highly successful Big lottery Basis 2 programme we are looking for a compliance and sustainability officer to support the Development Agency Network. The Post holder will ensure the project continues to meet the high standards already achieved, the post holder will also be responsible for ensuring all reports are sent to the Big Lottery in a timely manner and that the end of project evaluation takes place by July 2012. The post holder will also require having a proven track record of income generation and business development at a strategic level so to ensure the long term sustainability of the Development Agency Network and help support the long term development and sustainability of Castle Vale TRA.


A proven track record in bid writing and fund raising is essential to this post.




Business support and monitoring officer


£ 17,000


35 hours per week (flexible)

Based at Castle Vale TRA, Spitfire House, High St Castle Vale, and other locations in Birmingham.


As part of our highly successful Big lottery Basis 2 programme we are looking for a business support and monitoring officer who will work alongside the compliance and sustainability officer to ensure we meet the high expectations of the Big Lottery funded Basis 2 programme. The post holder will also support the Chief Executive Officer and Operations Manager in the day to day running of Castle Vale TRA. The post holder will have experience of undertaking this role but also understand the challenges faced by an organisation rooted in the heart of a community such as Castle Vale.


Money Advice Support Worker 

£25,000- 27,0000 pa ( NJC SO2 spinal point 32


35 hours per week (flexible)


Based at Castle Vale TRA, Spitfire House, High St Castle Vale, and other locations in Birmingham.


The Money Advice Support worker will support residents who access the Money Advice Support Unit. The primary purpose of the Money Advice support Unit is to support residents of Castle Vale and its surrounding environs who have utility bills as priority debts.


The post holder will also be responsible for recruiting volunteers and for ensuring the volunteers are trained to national accredited standards E.G NVQ 3 in Advice and Guidance and national recognised qualifications in Money Advice.


The post holder will also ensure all volunteer are supervised on regular basis. Whilst this post is 35 hours a week it is a condition that the post holder will work late one night a week and a Saturday morning to provide a drop in service.
