Routes to Revolution - only one week left to view this exhibition

Routes to Revolution showcases the creative responses of a group of refugee and newly arrived women towards Birmingham’s industrial and craft-based heritage. This project has resulted from a partnership between Craftspace and the Community Integration Partnership (CIP).

Utilising craft techniques the women have made work in response to their environment. The culmination of this first project will be a display of limited edition pieces inspired by investigative visits to Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens through to the industrial past of the Jewellery Quarter.

Community Gallery at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

The exhibition ends on March 6th 2011 so get down there.
