Here are a few reviews:

"With Paul Weller enjoying something of a creative rebirth following three well-recieved LPs, and Ocean Colour Scene finally achieving adulation after a long, very long, lay off, the mod aesthetic is back, and The Town are one of the newest bands to embrace the resurgance."

"Friday night went along to see one of the brightest new bands on the music scene at the moment, The Town, the three members work together like a fine wrist watch ticking along with such ease you can hardly see where the next powerful tune will come from then just like a watch is sure to get to that next hour they do it again, not only with well mastered and well studied covers but a whole selection of their own tunes which fit into the set with grace, ease and exciting raw power"

The Town are an energetic rock band with the ability to impress and have scored themselves a headline gig at Wolverhampton’s Slade Rooms this Saturday, the 26th February 2011. They are band definitely worth watching out for in the future, with their meaningful lyrics, modern rock sound, yet still, their image is one of such that they have been grabbed by a time daemon and dragged to 2011, from the times of bands such as The Jam and T-Rex.

The Town write effortlessly impressive music, with the ability to send a shiver down your spine. The three piece make a sound that is pleasing to the ears.

The band is influenced by musicians such as Paul Weller, The Enemy, Stereophonics and The Clash, and these influences are something that is bought to your attention, through the alternative punk rock sound, which although is given through the music, is something that you would not expect such meaningful lyrics to be bonded with so genetically.

The three-piece, from Wolverhampton, have managed to develop a sound which is likely to appeal to fans of most rock bands, and there is no reason why it should not give them the ability to get them very far in the music industry in the future. If you are a fan of bands such as Stereophonics, Coldplay, Oasis, U2 and most other popular rock-bands then there is no reason why you should not become a raging fan of this very talented band.

The track selected for our Life or Death Track, ‘Soul’ is a track which brings to you a sound which you would definitely not expect from three mods on their mopeds. The track truly does have the ability to blow your mind, with the effortless vocals which resound in our years throughout. The track really can make you think about what the lyrics mean, and sometimes, definitely in the case of The Town, is something which is very impressive. This track could easily have it’s very own meaning to every separate person who listens to it.
