Get composting in Solihull

Solihull Council is helping residents to get composting, by cutting the costs of compost bins and water butts.

The Council has teamed up with Evergreener to offer residents a variety of composting equipment at bargain prices.

The range includes composters of varying sizes, water butts and wormeries.

Councillor Mrs Kate Wild, Cabinet Member for Community Services, said: “Composting is an inexpensive, natural process that transforms your kitchen and garden waste into a valuable and nutrient-rich food for your garden. This partnership offers residents excellent value for money on equipment that helps make composting really easy – why not give it a go yourself?”
