Sat 23rd July
Tittensor Marsh, Tittensor near Stone.
People are invited to an evening looking at bats and moths at the site with our experts. There will be help on hand from Staffordshire Bat Group who will bring bat detectors for people to try. Afterwards, Dave Grundy an expert on moths will show the many species to be found on the site. Dave predicts we could see many varieties of moth, perhaps including the colourful hawk moths.
Tittensor marsh is a county wildlife site with a good range of wetland plants. The marsh is managed by Stafford Borough Council through an agreement with Natural England.
Please meet on the marsh. Access is through an alleyway on Bracken Close.
This is a free event
