Training Alert

Volunteer Management Essentials

Trainer: Lisa Hartley

Date: Thursday 28th July 2011

Time: 1pm - 4pm refreshments will be provided

With the emergence of current legislation such as the Localism Bill volunteering is becoming the heart of the voluntary sector, and effective management of this is increasingly ever more important at a time when resources are over - stretched and over worked. It is a time for organisations to work more inventively and more effectively with less and volunteering is the way forward.

This training is for those who are new to volunteer management and would benefit from receiving a formalised introduction to the field. It will take you through the requirements of recruiting volunteers, and present effective management tools to maximise the experience of volunteering for both the volunteer and your organisation.

The training will cover:

· Planning

· Recruitment

· Selection

· Induction

· Training

· Supervision

· Volunteer Costs

· Motivation

· Recognition

· Evaluation

For more information or to book please send an email to hafizun.nessa@stpaulstrust.org.uk  with your name and details of your organisation, including contact details. You will receive a confirmation that we have received your details and you are booked on the training
