WOMEN who feel they are stuck in a rut are being urged to attend a life-changing workshop in Birmingham by one of the UK ’s leading life coaches.

Claire Chidley, a world-renowned author, teacher and trainer, is visiting the Midlands Arts Centre, on Saturday, March 10, in a bid to help women make the changes they need to become happier and less weighed down by the stresses and strains of everyday life.

“Sometimes women lose sight of themselves and what makes them content and fulfilled simply because life takes over,” said Claire, who has worked extensively with the UK ’s public, private and charitable sectors and toured as far afield as the US , Europe and the Far East .“They get bogged down in jobs they don’t really like but can’t afford to leave, or they give up work to bring up their families and then find themselves floundering when the children leave home.

“Life doesn’t have to be grey and joyless – and my workshops will set them back on track and help them rediscover what matters most to them.”

During the workshop - one of four to be held as part of a nationwide tour - she will help women look at how they manage their feelings and how they communicate with others.

There will also be group games and exercises to help them identify what makes them happy and show them how they can re-structure their lives to make them more fulfilling.

Claire, whose tour is based on her acclaimed self-help book 360° Wisdom: A Guide to Discovering You, said: “The workshops aren’t about encouraging women to make drastic, Shirley Valentine-style changes necessarily.

“They are about helping them make small changes to the way they see things and the way they communicate with others. It’s all about restoring balance so rather than being swept along by life they actually start to enjoy it and get the very most out of it.”

Tickets for the workshop, which starts at 10am and finishes at 4pm, cost £50 or £40 for concessions and can be purchased via the 360° Wisdom website at
