THE TIME IS NOW.....JUST DO IT.... START YOUR OWN BUSINESS

Starting your own business is one of the most challenging yet rewarding things you could ever choose to do. Many people dream of the freedom, pride and sense of accomplishment that being your own boss affords however, not many people take the leap and do it for themselves.

Whether you are stuck in a dead end job, or have chosen a career which you are no longer passionate about, Aspire4u CIC can help you JUST DO IT.

We want to help YOU make a difference in your life and become the master of your own destiny so you don't start the next New Year regretting everything you did not do.

Our "Start Your Own Business" workshop is perfect for individuals considering starting their own business but are not sure how to go about it. Part of a series of "Future Focus" workshops, it is also ideal for individuals who have made a firm decision to become self employed but need a kick start. Alternatively if you would simply like more information for an unknown time in the future, then this workshop will also be great for you.

The workshop will include standard start up information including legal structures, feasibility studies, ideas to market, protecting your intellectual property, accessing finance & support, choosing the right business model and more.

In addition, the session will include an insight into the day to day issues which you may face setting up and running your own business and how you can try to combat them.

The final segment of the session will include goal setting and an opportunity for you to share your ideas, concerns and experiences with the group.

This session will include practical activities for you to undertake independently and will be led by by the CEO of Aspire4u, Daniella Genas.

Daniella set up Aspire4u in 2007 and has made a significant mark in the Social Enterprise community. She is currently being featured on BBC Radio 4's 'Women in Business' series and is a visiting lecturer at Birmingham City University.
