The Equality Act 2010 - One Year On - A Seminar for SME’s

The Equality Act was introduced in October 2010 to replace and simplify over 100 pieces of previous anti-discrimination Acts and regulations.

Just over a year later, we would like to take this opportunity to remove any of the fogginess around the Act and review how it has been working in practice for employers so far.

Come along to this free event organised by the Equality and Human Rights Commission and Birmingham City Council if you are a small to medium sized company looking for expert advice around the Equality Act Legislation and to hear how other employers are fulfilling their duties. This is also a great opportunity to share experiences with other like minded businesses.

Speakers, including EHRC and Employers, will provide an overview of the Act and how it was been implemented. Lunch will be provided.

Tuesday 21st February 2012

9.00am to 2.00pm

At

Lake Side Centre, Aston University
