Supporting‘Explore Bipolar’ from Lands End to John O’Groats
May 2012: On the 31st May 2012, the Explore Bipolar cyclists will set off on a 19 day challenge of a lifetime to complete the Bipolar‘Highs & Lows’ Cycle 2012, a grueling off road bike ride from Lands End to John O’Groats. Testing their fitness and muscles to the limits, the brave riders will endure the highs and lows of England , Wales & Scotland by mountain bike in aid of Bipolar UK .
On the 5th June 2012, day 6 of the challenge, the weary bikers will reach The Best Western, Dudley, Birminghamwhere they will have the chance to recharge their muscles with a session in the pioneering Aquaneuro Wet System*, the worlds first micro-charged treatment for overall wellbeing and healing.
With as many as 5% of the UK’s population on the Bipolar spectrum, Norfolk based Aquavate Ltd, the sole UK distributor of the Aquaneuro Wet System, recognised the importance of raising awareness of mental health issues and decided to support the fundraising event by offering the participants a treatment in the Aquaneuro Wet System to give them a well deserved muscle boost along the way.
During a 30-minute treatment, which takes place in what could be mistaken for a common spa bath, the patented SigmaQ technology, developed by Dr Roberto Ciaff, will work to improve circulation to the muscles, decrease pain, increase overall mobility, aid relaxation and encourage the body to release its own natural feel- good chemicals (endorphins) before they set off the next day.
