The bands are back in town (Worcester)

Music will once again be ringing out across a Worcester park as its Sunday Bands season gets underway this weekend.
Sounding the approach of spring and summer, the melodic events at Cripplegate Park will see visiting bands entertaining park users over the coming eight weeks.
The free toe-tapping treats start on Sunday May 6 when Pete Stones(correct) Mellowtone Brass will be performing.
Come along and join in the fun. Bring a picnic and soak up the park’s relaxing atmosphere while listening to some popular tunes.
The concert begins at 2.30pm and will finish at about 4.30pm. Tea and coffee will be available at the Sons of Rest building in the park.
The Cripplegate Sunday Bands is arranged by the Friends of Cripplegate Park and Worcester City Council park wardens.
