Choosing a dish won’t be too trying when it comes to Browns’ new summer menu. Think everything from the Browns nutritious house salad, classics such as fish and chips and chicken leek and mushroom pie, delicious summery pasta dishes to their roast duck breast with braised baby gem, broad beans and red wine and black cherry sauce. Their wild boar burger straight off the grill is hard to beat, and Browns Eton Mess with cherries, white chocolate, hazelnuts and clotted cream will make even staunch savoury-lovers swoon.
Through its network of restaurants across the UK , Browns has pledged to donate up to £10,000 to the NSPCC for this campaign.
Simon King National Retail Director at Browns Bar and Brasserie said: “It is the first time that Browns have done such a big fundraising campaign for charity, so this is really exciting for us. Our new summer menu has got some seriously tasty dishes on it and to know that one pound for each main meal ordered will go to the NSPCC to help protect vulnerable children from abuse is the icing on the cake.”
Emma Bryant, NSPCC corporate manager for Birmingham , said: “This is a fantastic fundraising initiative from Browns and with a donation to charity on the menu, who can resist a delicious meal out?
“Without the help of local businesses like Browns and its customers, the NSPCC would not be able to provide its vital local services and helplines that are so often a lifeline for vulnerable children and young people.”
