The Lines - Wolverhampton Civic Hall: Saturday 15th December 2012

After attracting the ears of the industry and building on the strong foundation of their ever-growing fanbase, The Lines return with the follow up from their debut single ‘Domino Effect’ with this infectious-indie four-track EP.

The Wolverhampton four-piece leave a mark on any listener with the soaring vocal melodies of vocalist of Alex Ohm, whose style and energy is the perfect addition to the backbone of their prominent, driving drumbeats and punch-the-air guitar riffs…
Tickets go on sale at 9.00am on Friday 11th May.

Taking influences from the likes of The Verve, Ian Brown and Radiohead, the established sound THE LINES create is one ahead of their time, like a band who have been perfecting their craft for years, but with their unique stamp left over each catchy chorus.
THE LINES have had support from the likes of XFM, Kerrang, Steve Lamacq, The Fly, Artrocker and more with their arrival in the scene looking like one that will last.
Not only impressing through the speakers, THE LINES explosive live shows have seen them share stages with Jack Panate, The Maccabees, Babyshambles, Supergrassand others which then lead them to be invited to support fellow Midlanders The Twang. The band have also performed at some of the most respected festivals across the world including SXSW, The Canadian Music Festival, CMI New York, Frequency Festival , Live at Leeds, Camden Crawl , Liverpool Sound City and more.
With such an impressive introduction into an overcrowded market, THE LINES have no intention of slowing things down, with the plan to make the coming year the one which cements their name firmly in the music scene.
