Want to be part of The Buddies Programme?

This programme is an exciting new initiative which aims to build the capacity of the voluntary and community sector in the Black Country by matching up specific community groups, charities and voluntary organisations with experienced professionals and community workers.
The four broad areas covered by the programme include Funding, Finance, Business and Marketing.

Recipient organisations will have access to a dedicated buddy for approximately 8 hours per month over three to four months.

Buddies can come from anywhere in the West Midlands but participating organisations must be based or operational within the Black Country.

Buddies come from a wide range of backgrounds and can be anyone with skills or knowledge in one or more of the four buddy strands. They can be from the world of business, industry, the public sector, and the voluntary and community sector; we also welcome graduates and postgraduates looking to exploit their skills and build their work experience.

This is an initiative funded by The Social Action Fund and run in partnership with local charity support agencies across the Black Country.
