Music fans from across the Midlands are being called upon to show their support for local bands No Americana and The Inconvenience who are amongst 40 hopefuls in with the chance of supporting the BRIT award winning Kaiser Chiefs at motorcycle and music festival, Triumph Live 2012.
The festival, which takes place at Mallory Park, Leicestershire from 31 August – 2 September, is the world's largest festival devoted to Britain's biggest and most iconic motorcycle manufacturer. The Triumph Live Band Battle competition offers a unique opportunity to some of the UK’s most exciting up and coming talent to get the ultimate support slot in front of more than 10,000 fans.

Time is already running out to show your support with voting closing at the end of June. The top 20 bands with the most votes will go forward to a nail-biting online ‘vote off’ where five acts will be selected to go through to the Triumph Live Band Battle Final which will take place at Triumph Motorcycles Hinckley factory on 13 July. In addition to the bands with the most votes in the ‘vote off’, a lucky ‘wild card’ entry will be chosen from the remaining 15 acts to attend the final in Hinckley.
