Opportunities Fair 2012

This year’s Opportunities Fair promises to be bigger and better than ever.
The free event is aimed at people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health difficulties, autism, visual and hearing impairments, adults who are 65 or over, and all carers, to find out what services, support and opportunities are available.
The Opportunities Fair is on Thursday 21 June between 11.00am and 5.00pm at New Bingley Hall. Taking place during Carers Week 2012, the fair will host many more activities than the 2011 Opportunity Fair.

We are making this event as accessible as possible. If you have particular support needs please email OpportunitiesFair@birmingham.gov.uk or call us on 0121 303 4044.

Carers Week Celebration

The Opportunities Fair will be followed by a Carers Week Celebration, from 6pm until 11pm, with entertainment provided, celebrating the work of Birmingham carers.

Beyond Art Exhibition

The fair will also host the first Beyond Art exhibition, an art exhibition that will allow people to look beyond someone’s disability or age and see the talent each individual has.
