Rich Batsford - Mindfulmess

Rich Batsford is already establishing himself as an exciting emerging songwriters and pianist composer with performances of his hypnotic and beguiling compositions and visionary song-craft.

Following Valentine Court, an acclaimed debut of meditative solo piano music, Rich Batsford presents his new album Mindfulmess, a collection of inspiring and reflective songs.

To celebrate, Rich is performing a string of concerts around the UK culminating in performances at the Edinburgh and Melbourne Festival Fringes.

Rich best describes Mindfulmess as “An album of songs reflecting a midway point in a lifetime's attempt to make sense of reality and live accordingly, with frequently mixed results.”

Rich has previously graced stages such as The Big Chill Festival and co-founded the experimental creative network Project X Presents, acting as musical director for five of their unique and large scale "omnimedia-experiences" as well as a series of concerts including a sell-out appearance at Birmingham Cathedral under the banner “Musituality”.

The Album:  This concert marks the official release of the Mindfulmess album - channelling Ben Folds, Leonard Cohen and Brian Wilson into a deeply affecting, personal and at times inpsiration collection of songs, featuring phenomenal harmonies.
