This summer the Black Country Living Museum is celebrating its Marvellous Mechanisms. Visitors can follow the family discovery trail around the Museum and explore some of history’s greatest mechanisms. Visit the Newcomen Engine, the world’s first steam engine and join in with ‘Hands on Heritage’ to make your own marvellous mechanism.
Join in with traditional street games in the museum’s village including hopscotch and skipping. Test your skill with a cup and ball and the whip and top.
