Birmingham based actor Gully McGrath has recently starred in the latest Johnny Depp movie Dark Shadows. Ahead of his guest appearance at this year's Summer Fayre at Our Lady of Fatima near Hagley Road in Harborne, Gully has given this exclusive interview to Spaghetti Gazette. We asked Gully some questions about his career, his interests and life in general:
What is it like working on a film set at such a young age?
IT IS A BIG RESPONSIBILITY BUT A LOT OF FUN
What do you think of living in Birmingham?
I HAVE LOTS OF GOOD FRIENDS IN BIRMINGHAM AND I HAVE BECOME VERY FOND OF IT
What was Johnny Depp like to work with?
I HAVE BEEN ASKED THIS QUESTION A LOT AND I THINK THAT HE IS A VERY NICE MAN AND HE WAS VERY KIND TO ME AND MY MUM.
What are your hobbies?
I LIKE TO GLUE TOGETHER AND PAINT MODELS, AND MAKE DIORAMAS WITH THEM
Do you support a football or other sports team?
IF I WERE TO SUPPORT A FOOTBALL TEAM IN THE WORLD CUP IT WOULD BE AUSTRALIA BUT IN THE EURO, I WOULD SUPPORT ENGLAND.

PIZZA ANY DAY OF THE WEEK
How did you become an actor?
THANKS TO MY PRIMARY SCHOOL IN AUSTRALIA.

Dark Shadows has some amazing effects, what was the most spectacular thing you were part of during filming?
WHEN THEY SET THE SET ON FIRE FOR REAL.
Any advice for children at OLF school dreaming of a career in acting?
DO NOT GIVE IN, BECAUSE THE NEXT AUDITION MAY BE THE ONE.
What would be your dream role in a movie?
TODD HEWITT IN 'THE KNIFE OF NEVER LETTING GO'
