Front of house staff at the region’s most popular theatre don a heavenly host of Nun’s habits in celebration of the arrival of the smash hit musical Sister Act.
On Wednesday night (9 Oct 2012) Birmingham Hippodrome threw open its doors to greet a sold-out audience with a heavenly host of staff dressed in their finest Nun’s habits.
Over 1,800 patrons were welcomed to the venue by pint-pulling nuns to programme selling sisters dressed in praise-worthy outfits celebrating the arrival of the Broadway and West End musical on its final stop on the current UK Tour.
Based on the Hollywood hit of the same name, Sister Act played to over a million people during its run at the London Palladium. This fabulous, family-friendly, feel-good show is packed with songs inspired by Motown, funk, soul and disco.
