iSE: Enterprise Match Project
· Unlocking talent across Digbeth, Highgate and Cheapside; developing a workforce or volunteer base, equipped with the skills local social enterprises, community groups, charities, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations need for today and tomorrow.
What’s the project about?
· To develop the soft skills of 20 unemployed individuals living in Digbeth and parts of Highgate, by linking them with voluntary work placements within locally based social enterprises, community groups, charities, small businesses and not-for-profit organisations operating in the local area.
· The aim is to help remove barriers to employment and assist local people to move closer to the labour market, as well as to become more involved in their local community.
· Volunteer work placements may be between a minimum of 2-weeks , to 3-months long.
We’re on the search for unemployed and economically inactive individuals who face barriers to full time employment, living in Digbeth, Highgate & Cheapside, who are severely disadvantaged in the labour market, and would like to take advantage of a local volunteer work placement.
