Solihull StreetFest 2013

Shoppers can enjoy the best of street performers and shop at the same time in Solihull on Saturday 20th July when StreetFest visits Solihull town centre.

StreetFest, running from 11am - 4pm, will be a celebration of talented entertainers with a variety of leisure for the whole family to enjoy.  The amusing entertainment will be based outside Costa in Mell Square, BHS, H Samuels, Maplins and on Station Road.

As well as the amazing acts from Steve Kaos – a comedy juggler and balancing act and Kwabana Lindsay – a multi-talented circus & street performer and Hoop La La, there will be traditional and jazz music and a group of local buskers performing.

In addition, there is a Shakespearian theatrical group known as Tread the Boards, who are wandering around in costume and reciting Shakespeare’s powerful monologues, scenes and sonnets.

With all of the entertainment going on, there really is something for everyone. Many shoppers will be venturing there on Saturday and will witness an astounding celebration!

A full timetable of performers and locations is published on the Solihull Council’s events page at:
