Wrekin View Primary School Need YOUR Help!

The children, teachers, family & friends of Wrekin View Primary School are working in partnership with to enable them to obtain an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Their fundraising campaign started just over 2 weeks ago and they are now approaching their final 2 weeks, but they need help to make sure their campaign is a success.

Sadly 270 young lives are taken by Sudden Cardiac Arrest each year.
The AED will be housed inside the school and will be available for public use when the school is open. The chances of survival from a person suffering Sudden Cardiac arrest decreases by 10% per minute.
AED's need to be used on a patient extremely quickly to give the patient the best chances of survival. AEDs are being placed into high footfall public areas to increase safety to the public to ensure that a patient suffering from Sudden Cardiac Arrest has the required treatment minutes before the ambulance arrives. 85,000 People die each year from Sudden Cardiac Arrest, 90% of those patients could be saved if they had access to a Defibrillator.

The Children and Staff have been doing fundraising events such as Bag Packing, Sponsored Runs, Cake Sales and much more!
They have done everything that they can to raise the funds; a final bit of help from the local community and businesses should see them reach their target. If you can help please visit
