BID has provided high quality services for Deaf People for over 100 years, and continues to grow and develop nationally to offer a range of services to people with a Sensory Impairment and other Disabilities and is now seeking to expand its professional team with the addition of:

 
SUPPORT WORKERS

BIRMINGHAM

 
£13,925 (Trainee) increasing to £15,796 - £17,240 per annum

Salary dependent upon experience and qualifications

 37 hours per week Monday to Friday

Fixed Term Contract to end of March 2016

 
We are seeking to recruit two Support Workers to join our Supporting People team operating within Birmingham.

As a Support Worker, you will provide support to people with hearing difficulties Sensory Impairments and/or Physical Disabilities so they can live independently in the community. Applicants must have a level one British Sign Language qualification and be working towards level two and ideally hold NVQ2 in social care. 

We serve a diverse community and we seek to develop a multi-cultural team that can meet a range of needs within the Deaf/Physical/Visual/BME communities.
