Local businesses open doors to the entertainment industry for young talented Brummies

The music industry can be a tough establishment to make the voice of youngsters heard - until now. GT's Records, Yogurt Top Marketing and The Wheeler Street Corporation C.I.C have collaborated with South Birmingham and City College Birmingham including a number of local Radio Stations in the search of giving talented, young hopefuls a chance to crack the entertainment business.

Grantley Haynes from GT's Records, a record label which in the past have helped the likes of Tippa Irie and Pato Banton on their quest for stardom, wants to extend his knowledge with over 30 years in the business to individuals and groups aged between 11 and 18. This fantastic opportunity will present the winner from 3 categories with a development package worth over £3,000, including a professionally recorded single, photo shoot and music video. However, it doesn't stop there, social media management, artist development coaching and digital media marketing sessions will also be thrown into the works by Yogurt Top Marketing and GT's Records to kick-start a colourful future for the winner.

Grantley Haynes, director and founder of GT's records commented to say, "This is a fantastic opportunity for young talented individuals to enter the entertainment industry, which is a tough and extremely competitive business. Judges will be searching for contestants that fall within 3 categories: Singers/Bands, MC/Rap/Spoken Word and Producer/Beat Makers.
