The Arcadian to support Birmingham Comedy Festival

Lina Higuita, centre manager for The Arcadian

The Arcadian is lending its support to the Birmingham Comedy Festival for the fourth consecutive year.

One of Birmingham’s most popular annual arts events, the festival runs from Friday October 2 to Sunday October 11, 2015, and will see a host of established and fast-rising names taking to stages across the city.

Lina Higuita, centre manager for The Arcadian, a top Birmingham city centre leisure destination owned and managed by leading commercial property company London & Cambridge Properties (LCP), said it was keen to back the 10-day extravaganza.

“As home to The Glee Club, one of the UK’s premier comedy venues, we are only too pleased to support this fabulous festival, which attracts audiences from across the country,” she said.

Dave Freak, organiser of the festival, which launched in 2001, said:

“We’re delighted that The Arcadian is again supporting the Birmingham Comedy Festival. As home to the multi-award-winning Glee Club and restaurant/ bars such as Le Truc, it’s a great venue for festival events.”

This year’s festival line-up will be officially announced over the summer. For more information, visit www.bhamcomfest.co.uk
